I've been wondering for ages now from editing the data files, what is a FRAFFYCAN or a FRAFFYMACHINE? It's almost everywhere, even in Pedstats.

Can anyone shed some light?

It seems that the .dir file is missing or unreadable, make sure you're running the program as Administrator and that the .dir file is present, and ensure you rebuild the archive regularly.

Hello, I have found a way to get this debug 'mission' to run, but unlike the vehicle spawn debug, it does not tell you what to press.

If anyone is any good with this kind of thing, could you find out which button will execute this 'test mission' ?

Nice mod i'll try to retexture the playstation 2 version of the sky dome to the pc version withe 3 new versions so it could have cloudy,partly cloudy, and sunny for a real life affect. The sky alawy's looked dul.

That's what I've been trying to do, then I found out pedstats.dat is absolutely obsolete because the sky worked when i completely deleted it, which is really misleading.

There should be something called 'unarmed' for all of the characters, then there is another area for 'Likelihood of haing a weapon' so you should set that to 100.

Remove Sky-dome Mod

If there's one thing that annoyed me in Bully Scholarship Edition, it would definitely be the sky-dome above everything, I liked the normal textureless gradient sky from the PlayStation 2 version, I am quite obsessed with having a good atmosphere within the game, and the sky-dome kills it.

It is very blurry and makes everything looks really bad, some might not agree, and will find this mod extremely pointless, but I think this makes the game look more presentable, as opposed to a blurry sky.

Please consider that you might have dislike this mod, it is targeted for people like me with an OCD for bad aesthetics, well, you might even think the sky-dome is good.

I find that if you try to make a mission trigger when you're on a chapter long before the mission itself, areas are different, example, the scaffolding area on Final showdown does not exist in the earlier chapters, if I remember correctly.

I'm not sure if I should put this in mod releases or anything similar, but, move if necessary.

Anyway, I have found a way to mute Jimmy's voice, but the file is too big to upload as a mod (Roughly 1GB), so I will provide instructions as opposed to a download.


Instructions:

1. Make your way to Bully Scholarship Edition/Audio/Playlist

2. Back up your copy of Speech.bin! - This is a big file and if you lose it, you will need to reinstall Bully.

3. Open Speech.bin in a Hex Editor such as HxD Hex Editor

4. Press CTRL + H [CTRL + R in some cases] to open up the 'Replace' Window

5. Replace all instances of 'Jimmy' to something like 'Nimmy' (May take a while, there are over 18K instances if I remember correctly.

6. Done

Notes:

1. I have not tested it yet, but this may work on other students too. Just replace 'Jimmy' with the ped identifier, (which is usually their name) and replace it with something of the same length.

2. I tried changing 'Nimmy' to another existing student. It may have worked if it weren't for the fact that Jimmy's social voice files aren't the same name as the pedestrians' voice files.
