Cancelling it IS the best thing guys....trust me on this.
Besides....kinda pointless to release a mod that basicly is just a copy of super mod...even though rise and I had the idea first after NTAuthority abandoned his version of that mod.....but DaBoss beat us to it since we were taking our time on trying to perfect all the details with it...etc.
I have this thing where I do not like to release mods that resemble other ppl's work since I always prefer being totally original in ALL of my work since being fully original is what makes any mod or work stand out to everyone and allows that person's true talents to shine above everything else.
If someone else wants to attempt a mod of this type then by all means...give it a try but I cannot nor will ever share any of the code that Rise and I were using to do our version since all of that code took a VERY long time to figure out and a LOT of reverse engineering was involved in that....and besides, Rise would never allow code with that much time and effort put into figuring it out just get handed to someone else for nothing while allowing that other person to basicly cheat their way through making a mod like that. That modder would never learn a thing by doing that.
In regards to DaBoss, While some here probably wonder how he figured things out to use with his mods....while he did take a shortcut
to find the names of the functions that helped make model swapping possible....he DID however work very hard on his own WITHOUT any help from anyone else to work out exactly how things worked and came up with his own solution and as a result I have since had a lot of respect for him because he tries to actually learn how to do these things and prefers to work them out for himself rather then have something just handed to him and take the easiest way out of things.
Due to that respect I have for DaBoss, I took it upon myself to help him out whenever he asks for it online which is not super often...and as a result...like Rise, Red, SWEGTA, Lemon, Myself....we make a great team when we work together on something because we know what the other is capable of doing and not asking for more then what the other can handle.
That is the real definition of proper teamwork....and I also will NEVER ask anyone on my team or elsewhere to do something that I myself won't do...it is a philosophy I have long held and it has served me quite well over the last 20 odd years....hehe
