Out here, County roads are simple, once you figure out the system.
Most all county roads are numbered, with a N, S, E, W designation, pegged to the center of the county.....Example, "CR 500-W" means 5 miles West of the center of the county.
A lotta states I been to have crazy ways to number their country roads...Like Wisconsin, for instance. There, they just give the road a 'letter', like Co. Road 'J'.....When the run out of letters, they just double up...like 'AA', 'BB' 'SS' and what not. They're scattered all over, no reason to any of it.
