When I(the old one) was young, Indonesia is re-invaded by the Dutch and Allied Forces and I became a child conscript, and I was used to throw stone blades and bamboo spears at the invaders and shortly I started to use firearms as young as 8. I want to use a machine gun but I can't handle the recoil and I'm interested on sniper rifles because it was awesome to look through the scope. Also, my son can ride a motorbike at 12.

I wouldn't say the U.S. sucks. I would say the laws of the U.S. suck. Even smoking has been kicked up to 19. During the time Pres. Bush was in office he tried to push all movies with smoking to be rated R.

The one thing is that we may not like the way laws are with us and our fun, but some places have no fun. Its like a give and take situation.

Yeah I'm pretty sure stuff like that is the same throughout the whole country but I could be wrong. I think driving age and possibly a few other things only vary from state to state.

I thought that the driving age was 15 for your permit and 16 for your lisence all over the US.

No. Here in New York, It's 16 for permit and at least 16 and 6 months for license + driver's ed or 5 hour driving course.

In New York its 19 to buy a pack. Our great pres. Bush did this stupid shit. You may have it differently. They're pushing to increase the age MORE.

 The only thing about the U.S. that sucks is the people we put in charge of it.  I get annoyed sometimes at foreigners that are so eager to criticize our country.  We are not all ignorant pricks, we are not all fat and lazy....etc.  that is only a small group of bastards that give us a bad name.  I don't mean to sound like some hyper-patriotic prick, but it gets annoying after a while.  When you think about it, its about as fair as making a statement about all Germans loving beer or all Mexicans liking tacos....its all ignorant.  You can't criticize ignorance with ignorance, it just doesn't work.  The reason I bring this up is because we were just talking about how the U.S. "sucks" and it brought to mind how often that is said.  Although we were referring to laws, I know that this country is often insulted outside of this particular thread and often unfairly.     *end of rant*

that sucks, it's 15 for you're permit here in Texas, and I got my lisence the day I turned 16.

and our smoking age is 18, what's y'all's drinking age?
