He was concerned about self preservation. He wanted to stat away from the asswipes who thought they were cool because they looked it. That's how the big and tough become tough, they fuck with the weak and small. Only when their own size comes out do they pull excuses and back down.

I think this was somewhat mentioned in another thread. But I don't remember which? I think it would be cool if there was a chapter about gaining respect from the prefects and at the end he'd gain authority. Although, I can't think of any missions that would really support this part of the game... So I'm not sure.

Go take a look in "Bully 2 Mission And Side Mission Ideas" located in Bully 2 Discussion. Something similar is there. "Realistic Hopes and Expectations For Bully 2" located in Bully 2 Dicussion had some ideas too. That is one thing I would certainly want to see in the next Bully. Maybe Jimmy get's a Prefect uniform in his wardrobe.

Being a prefect, including the relations you have with all the cliques... Offer them services to gain respect from them... Nice idea.

I picture it being similar to "The rise and fall of Jimmy Hopkins, aged 15." Only this time around, instead of missions to gain clique respect back, he would use authority in different ways to help each fraction. I don't think he should have any power until near the end of the game.

Maybe you could choose between GOOD and BAD then. Good would be defending the weak, and such things, while Bad would be a corrupted Jimmy, that makes money in exchange of 'looking the other way' or 'abusing authority'.

I played through this game one time, "Shadows Of Destiny", where you had to make choices as to which way you wanted the character to go or what to do.  You wound up being able to get several different endings that way, aka, "Silent Hill".

Sure it does, gives you incentive to replay the game, just like getting bonus weapons and shit for completing the game.  Which by the way was also a 'Silent Hill' deal. 

I always replayed the hell out of Resident Evil games just because of that very thing...A bonus weapon with unlimited ammo.
