Player Selector Mod (demo)

The Bully Scholarship Edition Player Selector Mod.

This mod was a very long time coming and is a tribute to the great NTAuthority who deserves credit for being the one who originally came up with this mod (his was a scripthook rather then a full blown lua mod like this) and is a testament to over a year of hard work by myself and Rise To Honor in making this mod even possible.

Rise To Honor also was the first to figure out the code that made swapping models possible.

For now we are releasing the demo of this mod that allows only 15 peds to choose from including changing back to Jimmy simply by selecting him.

This post will be updated later on when we release the final version so for now please enjoy.

Awesome mod! I only had a little problem with Algie, if I controlled him then stopped to idle he would continue forward, just slower. Could just be my copy of the game, otherwise it was great! Check out the dog on a bike!

That's a glitch in his fighting style or walking style. It has happened to me too.

Madman said that this mod can only be used with a xbox 360 controller.

Actually what I said was I will no longer provide modding support in my mod releases for keyboard users since doing double duty on trying to make seperate control bindings for both keyboard and xbox controllers is just too much bother for me to deal with atm. However keyboard users can use the mods.....how well depends on how they have their controls setup and what buttons are bound on the keyboard to what action as per their settings and preferences.  :biggrin:

Rise and I have worked on this for over a year since both of us have been somewhat obsessed with making this mod a full reality after NTAuthority decided to walk away due to too much begging and pleading for him to rush this out.

Both rise and I have dedicated this mod to NTAuthority because he was teh very first one to change the player model ingame however Rise and I are the first 'team' to do this using lua.

as far as the rest of the mod goes...there are still bugs to solve but Rise is working on some of those while I am doing extra duty not only working to get a final version of this mod out but also get the v3 vehicle spawner out which is almost ready......Should ahve that out tonite and also might have a early beta of the betting mod out too which will work similer to the player model selector and that is if everything goes according to plan.

Wow, you guys are awesome! And I was actually going to download Bully, yet again.

Although, it's been awhile where exactly do I put the two files under again? I'm sorry, like I said it's been awhile and this mod here is just extra motivation to play this once again. :D

I remember coming here to ask about Darby's 6-hit combo and for the first time(and knowing how hard it was to implement that in free roam) Hopefully, we do get to see some sort of that in the final version. Thanks, guys.

fighting style selecting is something Rise and I are working on adding eventually. But Rise is currently working to get every style working as close to perfect as possible before even attempting to add them and everything will likely be via a large ingame menu.

just put the two files under the scripts folder where bully is installed at....but dont forget to make backup copies of the original script files first that way you can restore to stock if a problem happens.
