^ Buy the inland property now cheap. It'll be worth millions sometime in the future!

It can be a good investment if you'll be selling it in the future, but once it becomes the next waterfront property you better sell it quick. I can guarantee you the government will skyrocket the taxes to that property. Just when you're living the good life you gotta get fucked over somehow. The government is pretty good at that.

Doubt that will happen anytime in our lifetimes though.

Maybe not in our lifetimes, but it most likely will happen. Too many natural disasters have occurred in CA. One day it will break off and get pushed up towards Alaska (if you look at the plate movement). What was one of the hottest states will become one of the coldest.

That's why I'd never live in California. Earthquakes aren't my thing.

That's why people are concerned now. Theere's some nuclear plants out there. If any earthquakes happen over there we might be joining Japan....

I am. I've been watching the news quite often. Now Japan is saying 4 of their reactors are near the point of failing. The news is saying a lot of bullshit how once any radiation reaches here it would be dead. Not true. Things like uranium238 take YEARS to actually die.

There really is no fear of any lethal radiation reaching the U.S from Japan. The most lethal element to be concerned about is Plutonium. Plutonium will still be radioactive 500,000 years from now.

In all seriousness, keep an eye on the West Coast, specifically the Pacific Northwest. There is great potential for an decent sized eartquake very soon.
