UGH !! Who would want Beaner Country ?  I say we sell it off to the highest bidder and balance the frickin budget.

By selling it we'll just keep the border hoppers coming. Now we don't just got mexicans, but whoever we sold the land to. If we take that land and expand the border there won't be any smuggling and border hopping. Now we just make a quarantine zone over there and let our law enforcement keep an eye on it. Now that its become U.S. property they'll have to apply themselves to all of our laws. And there won't be a border to protect them from our jurisdiction.

We can't do that. We're the Land of Opportunity. Our borders are always open to people. To build a fence like that would give us a bad name as a country and cause political issues.
        I always wanted us to completely close our borders off to foreign countries but most of the products we have here are imported from foreign countries. We NEED the borders open to run our economy. The only way to control these issues is if we own the land where the issues are. We may not be recieving anything useful from Mexico, but fencing off JUST Mexico gives the U.S. a really bad name.

I hate it when people drag up fucking things from our Constitution to justify why we are going soft. This whole "Land of Opportunity" bullshit has gone on long enough. We are America. We answer to no one. Who cares if we become hypocrites for blocking some people from entering the country? Who's got big enough nads to do something about it?

^^ That's where I have to disagree.  We as a country are at a saturation point.  We can no longer afford to absorb the people of the world into our borders.  The population of the US had doubled in just the past 60 years.  This can not continue.

And to absorb millions of more Beaners would lead to economic ruin.  Look how they have wrecked their own country.  And we should let them wreck ours ?

I'm actually with Mike. People have always looked back on the Constitution to determine what is right. The Constitution has made the U.S. into some real pussies. We need to grow a pair and become what we were when this country started: NEUTRAL. Sadly people fucked that up by making alliances they shouldn't have and stepping into wars they shouldn't have.

I'm predicting the west coast will be changing a bit when CA breaks off of the U.S. and shifts away. You're gonna see states like Arizona becoming waterfront property.
