I have been wanting to explain all of this as well for some time now. But...it does seem that more then a few want to claim "ownership" for the sole purpose of having their egos stroked by everyone else....since there will always be ppl that try to get the fame rather then mod a game for the real reasons of having fun and making lots of new friends.
This is why I NEVER claimed ownership of anything other then the unique creations I created out of what already existed. All of the fighting over action nodes, lua codes...etc has been pushing me away from the modding community and is partly why I have stepped back and put all of my modding projects on indefinite hold until further notice because I am seeing the very things I tried to help prevent when I took the reigns of the community and became a leader to everyone.
I realy would like to see this change instead of seeing the BB community turn out to be exactly the same as all the "other modding communities" that are out there because too many people want the fame rather then the real rewards that come with being a "friendly and helpful" modder and not one that just shouts at the top of their lungs at everyone to pay attention to what THEY have done and to hell with whatever anyone else has accomplished.
Please....learn from my example or the example DaBOSS is trying to show everyone.....Neither he nor I have claimed to "own" anything regarding bully and what most people here do not realize...DaBOSS and I have been working together and sharing code between one another since basicly day one and neither of us has asked for anything further from the other other then a brief mention or credit for helping the other in some way. Otherwise...we have shared code between one another and both of us have taught one another things the other did not know and as a result we have become solid friends that trust one another fully.
Trust is rare these days...and I rarely give mine to anyone unless they truly prove they deserve to have it....but at the same time...I myself the ENTIRE time I have been here have never asked anything in return from anyone else for helping them other then a simple thank you.
I would like to see everyone in the modding community....newbies as well as seasoned modders read these topics DaBOSS is posting and try to take what he is saying seriously. He just wants to see the best out of everyone here like I do and doesn't want to see endless squabbles over the who's, what's, when's and how's of modding this game. In the end...it is STILL just a game and should be FUN for everyone involved...not turn into a playground for fighting amonst one another over petty things.
Too many game communities suffer from this and I really don't want to see this happen here too. I want BB to stand out from all the rest as being THE place for any modders to come and have fun and have a great environment to work together on projects to extend this wonderful game we love called BULLY.
Just as a side note....I WILL be watching this thread carefully as well as others for more fighting and I will be putting a full stop to things.....and the rest of the staff will be doing the same as well.

I have a feeling you are correct there in your theory there Boss.....since most programming languages are written around the english language and not other languages...so trying to program with different keyboard layouts or ascii characater sets on a non english keyboard....can lead to some unpredictable results.

no werewolf and yes that is him. His build does seem a bit over large but that was intentional since he is the only one able to wield that massive minigun.

Alright....As some of you know I am in the process of writing a book of which I have put the info and some renders in a different thread. This story however that THIS thread is about is not related to the book in any way other then the fact I have popped a few characters from the book over to this story in a sort of crossover to the Bully universe. Couple names changed and some other things changed to prevent them from being confused with the book.
Anyways, I will be posting information here about the story and what it is about....along with wip renders (non final) to show what renders for the story will look like as this is a bully fanfic.
This story is based off of a dream I wrote about in the weird dreams thread quite a long time ago and seeing as ppl really liked reading about that dream of mine, I decided to just write a full fanfic based on that dream for all of you here on BB. Think of this as my gift to all of you for being there for me and quickly accepting me as part of the family back when I joined a few years ago.
I will release the story here in the form of a pdf and done up like a archival ebook. This will be a exclusive BB story and I am doing this for fun while I work on my other projects. I hope everyone likes this and I look forward to hearing comments from everyone as well as everyone's thoughts about the plot..characters..etc.
Now...on to the juicy stuff.
Wolf - Wolf is a character representing myself in personality. He is 19 almost ready to turn 20 and is the main protagonist of the story. He is the boyfriend of Meiyo and is always cool. calm and collected no matter the situation. He can however be pushed too far to where he goes into a full blood lust mode and will at that point attack his enemies in a savage way. He happens to be a skilled kenjutsu practitioner and is skilled in a wide variety of firearms due to his family having several members who served in the military that taught him everything they knew about guns, explosives, and various military only vehicles.
Meiyo - She is the same age as Wolf and shares many of the same skills that he does. She also happens to be part human and part fox (decided to alter the Bully universe to include anthromorphic characters) and has not only a deep love of Wolf, but also is loyal to him and will gladly give her life to save him if the situation arises where she would have to do that. She, like Wolf is a final year student at Bullworth Academy and would have graduated (along with Wolf) if both had not been held back a couple years and with the exception of Russell, happen to be the oldest Bullworth students. She also has a little sister who also goes to Bullworth Academy and is very very protective of her since both of their parents were killed in the zombie apocalypse and as such she and Wolf look after her.
Makoto - She is the 9 year old sister to Meiyo and is generally fun loving and more then a bit obnoxious at times. She does have hand to hand fighting skill and some kenjutsu skills but generally doesn't take part in any direct fights with the zombies for the most part since unlike her older sister Meiyo, she isn't physically strong enough to take on a full grown zombie by herself without help. She is good friends with Karen and is in all of her classes.
Karen - You all know who she is. I retained her personality for this story as best as I could and her already existing background also applies here. I won't bother repeating what everyone likely already knows on her...other then I will state that she does have a bit of a temper and won't hesitate to curse out any adult or student that gets on her bad side. She takes a similar role regarding the zombies that Makoto takes. She was originally going to be a zombie that gets killed in the upper level girl's bathroom like in the dream I wrote about...but decided to not have her as a zombie so Makoto could have at least a couple friends of her own and not just be extra baggage to the group.
Damon - As with Karen I kept him much like his game counterpart. However, he has a tense peace between Russell and Johnny and other Bully characters due to his being a jock and his being very territorial. In this story he is a final year student at Bullworth and is hoping to earn a football scholarship so he can play with the pros.
Johnny - He is much like his game counterpart however I changed his fighting style to modern kung fu with only a couple street fighting moves/stances instead of the style he used in the game which was a mix of street fighting/brawling and several martial arts.
Derby - He is like his game counterpart and very very snobby towards everyone that is NOT in his tax bracket. He still has an obsession with money and power even though money no longer has any meaning during a zombie apocalypse when survival is more important then money or following the laws of the land.
Russell - He also is like his game counterpart and I gave him a backstory as well. In this story he is actually older then Wolf...he is 20 and is STILL far from graduating from Bullworth Academy due to his poor intelligence and grades. He is extremely loyal to Wolf and Meiyo and is loyal to the group due to being saved from certain death by Wolf and Meiyo very early in the story. While the majority of the main characters have no driver's license they all still drive various vehicles anyways since the law for driving without a license does not apply here due to the fact that most of the population is dead or turned into zombies. He has basic knowledge of firearms and prefers hand to hand combat. He also happens to be rather strong and is one of the strongest characters in the group with the exception of Wolf who is far stronger then him due to being in exceptionally great physical shape. His temper is even shorter now and when enraged he goes on a total rampage shouting his trademark "Russell SMASH!" and doesn't stop until his enemy is defeated or dead.
Seth - He is the only prefect/staff member to survive the initial stages of the zombie apocalypse and has an even nastier attitude. He is very power hungry and considers himself above everyone else and plays a big part in this story. He also now has no qualms about killing another person to assert his authority over the situation. He has an immense hatred for both Wolf and Meiyo.
Jack - He is a character created solely for this story. He is a old friend of Wolf's and has provided him with the means to access some of the military bases (all abandoned) to get supplies and weapons. He also is a former 1 star general in the army and now like the rest is fighting to survive. He is in his early 40's.
Earnest - He is the leader of the nerds clique in the game and is among some of the surviving students in this story. He is afraid of Meiyo due to accidently pissing her off one day and ended up being stuck head first in a very dirty toilet with a trashcan over him.
Algie - Same personality as his game counterpart and pisses himself even more now due to his morbid fear of the zombies. He is a natural coward who would rather run then face his deepest fears head on and defeat them.
Beatrice - She is among the nerds that survived the initial start of the apocalypse and is attracted to Wolf due to his being the leader of the group and his laid back personality. She is jealous of Meiyo and wants to replace her as Wolf's lover.
Mandy - She also has an attraction to Wolf but only because she absolutely hates Meiyo. She also prevented Meiyo (like with Beatrice) from being on the cheerleading team out of jealousy over Meiyo being more athletic then she is. She also refuses to fight any zombies and constantly orders everyone else to do it for her.
Trent - He is one of the bullys that survived the start of the apocalypse and is loyal to the group like Russell is. He finds that he loves fighting the zombies and thinks that it is much more fun and rewarding then bullying the students and so finds a new hobby.
Bif - He survives the initial apocalypse along with the rest of the preps due to their being holed up in harrington house the whole time. He has a rivalry with Wolf and Russell and wishes to fight both in a even up fight. He loses some of his feelings for ppl that are not in his tax bracket (unlike Derby) as he realizes there are more important things then money and status. He doesn't much like Meiyo due to her half human and half fox appearance and as such is always rude to her when he gets the chance.
Lola - She is still Johnny's girl and now is fiercly loyal to him and he to her. She will eagerly fight the zombies and even seems to enjoy doing so as a way of getting back at the people she hates.
Kim - She is a 11 year old exchange student from japan. Her only friends so far are Makoto and Karen and she follows them around a lot. She is a quiet reserved girl who has a surprising amount of skill in karate due to her family having their own private dojo which is overseen by her father who is also her teacher. She has a excellent grasp of english due to taking lots of english classes at her school back home and has little trouble fitting in here at Bullworth Academy.
Troy - He manages to survive the initial apocalypse because he was down in the basement bullying fatty at the time and
Zoe - She has a bitter rivalry with Meiyo and while she doesn't have affection for Wolf as a potential girlfriend, her rivalry with Meiyo is based on her thoughts that Meiyo is both prettier then she is and is a better fighter. Zoe tries to start random fights with Meiyo most of the time that they are in the same room. She is missing Jimmy very badly due to the fact that she considers Jimmy to be the only guy that actually did like her for who she was rather then just thinking of her as another pretty face.
Melody - She was in her dorm room sick in bed and was spared the initial start of the apocalypse. She happens to like Makoto a lot and tries to be a friend to her. She however
Pinky - Like the rest of the preps, she survives and is holed up at Harrington House with the rest of them. She is in denial about the apocalypse and thinks the zombies are just people who refuse to believe that it isn't halloween yet. She also doesn't like Meiyo at all and considers her a freak of nature.
Zack - He is among some of the towns people that have survived and thinks this zombie apocalypse is wicked. He constantly refers to his large stash of zombie invasion comics for hints on what to do next.
Gary - He is using the apocalypse to gather followers so he can get revenge on Bullworth Academy and all of the surviving students for being kicked out the year previously. He has taken a big dislike in particular to Wolf and will do whatever it takes to take him down even if it means going after Meiyo or her sister. He has developed a psychotic personality by this point and considers himself to be the next hitler.

Petey also moved to a new school where he didn't have to worry about being bullied all the time and is now doing pretty well for himself. Gary however was kicked out of Bullworth Academy and has since developed a psychotic personality and wants revenge against the school for being kicked out. Wolf and Meiyo are in the school gym training with one another when the apocalypse starts. They try to gather survivors from the school and plan to locate other survivors as well as try to find the families of some of the surviving students. Can their group survive against the zombies? Will their group tear itself apart?

News & Updates / Re: Use Of "Report To Moderator" Tool

I made this a global announcement and stickied it since this is too important to let slide.
We have had a LOT of abuse of the report to moderator tool by a lot of members here as means of personal vendettas against one another and other useless crap and this needs to stop NOW! I have been away for some time due to being very sick and depressed due to the holidays...and I come back to this. This is not what I wanted to start my new year off to.
I kindly ask that every member here to please read King Cobra's post above carefully and take into consideration that the report to moderator tool is NOT to be used for any other purpose other then to get hold of a staff member to report a offending post. This tool is not a little playtoy to use to harass one another with and if things do not stop I personally will disable this tool for everyone and everyone will have to learn to live without it if a few people refuse to abide by the rules that have long been set down here on this forum.
I checked my email tonight and seen there was a few hundred emails all about useless reports by members here over trivial matters and I really do not want to see this keep happening. I am personally at the end of my rope as far as patience goes and for me to admit to this says a lot since I am known for my patience...but now even my patience is running very thin.
From this point forward I would like to see everyone please grow up and start paying attention to the rules here or I will start handing down bans personally and I don't care if it is a friend of mine or not that I have to ban in order to keep some sense of order around here.
We have had a LOT of abuse of the report to moderator tool by a lot of members here as means of personal vendettas against one another and other useless crap and this needs to stop NOW! I have been away for some time due to being very sick and depressed due to the holidays...and I come back to this. This is not what I wanted to start my new year off to.
I kindly ask that every member here to please read King Cobra's post above carefully and take into consideration that the report to moderator tool is NOT to be used for any other purpose other then to get hold of a staff member to report a offending post. This tool is not a little playtoy to use to harass one another with and if things do not stop I personally will disable this tool for everyone and everyone will have to learn to live without it if a few people refuse to abide by the rules that have long been set down here on this forum.
I checked my email tonight and seen there was a few hundred emails all about useless reports by members here over trivial matters and I really do not want to see this keep happening. I am personally at the end of my rope as far as patience goes and for me to admit to this says a lot since I am known for my patience...but now even my patience is running very thin.
From this point forward I would like to see everyone please grow up and start paying attention to the rules here or I will start handing down bans personally and I don't care if it is a friend of mine or not that I have to ban in order to keep some sense of order around here.

a LOT has been done since you were last here. As it is...I am getting ready to release nearly EVERY lua script fully decompiled/rewritten here very very soon and the ones that I can't yet will be worked on further as I have been working on the decompiler/compiler/editing front end that Pabloko did and basicly am continuing work on for him and with him to provide a universal bully modding tool. Something Fred and I thought of doing but never got the chance to do.
I have several scripts already fully rewritten such as main.lua and mainmap.lua which are the two main core lua scripts for most of the game along with every library script. Also have other things done too which I will make a new topic about the tool and continue working with pabloko on that.
and btw Insanity....just to update you on this bit...while I am helping out with the MP project and doing the best I can to assist and provide guidance where I can...I am NOT doing any of the coding on the mod. There has been recent confusion over my role in this massive mod and I recently made it very clear to everyone as well as some others helping clarify this...that I am only helping rather then actually coding on this mod.
Would love to get caught back up with you on xfire if you still use it since it seems like the old crowd is starting to return and this makes BB feel somehow more complete.

The 3ds max files will be released. I have been focusing on helping with the MP mod with the guys so have shoved this to the back seat for now. I still am working on things but have a lot of projects going on at once.

I will host a server myself from my own connection since i just got a nice upgrade and now am running a t3 again. This will make life a little bit easier for me so.....this should prove very fun and interesting at the same time.

Well, certain mods might work but right now it is too early to say for sure what exactly will be added as far as any "possible" support for running external mods with this.
Chances are mods may work if everyone who is playing on the server has the same exact mods....like with most games but there is always the possability the devs might have a surprise up their sleeves for this.
As far as actual proof goes for those that are not on the dev team, I or one of the devs can post screenshots showing the client as well as other info tho I will have to talk to Pabloko about that since it is up to him and P3ti on what they each want to let the community see as development moves forward.
I will be seeing about porting over my clan's massive server mod from sa-mp over to this as the official BB Bully Server mod and give everyone a massive server that they can do whatever in.
I will also state that this has potential to seriously go far. I am really glad that P3ti and Pabloko got hold of me here when they did before all of this was formally announced on BB since the whole thing was a total shock to me when they both came straight to me first about the multiplayer addon for the game. Both of them have my deepest respect not only for what they are doing but also for being really cool guys and talented coders.
Everyone here will be kept updated on this project as things unfold so....as it is said on many tv shows: Stay Tuned and we will be back after these messages from our sponsors.

Since I finally got my network issues fixed....I can get caught up here.
First...I will state that Pabloko and the others are speaking the truth about this mod and that is indeed real.
I myself am serving the development team in a advisory role and helping out with the game internals and will continue to do so. I also am helping Pabloko out with another side project that is being worked on at the same time that everyone here will also enjoy.
I am going to ask that everyone to please NOT hammer the team with questions asking when this will be done or beg for early releases. This simply will not happen.
P3ti and Pabloko are both working VERY hard on this project and while they have a lot done so far...there is still a lot more left to do before any beta releases can be considered. I am trying my best to help them both out with the internals of the game and point them in the right directions on where to get the information they need and also providing any other information they need if it is within my power to do so. While I am not taking part in any of the coding for this mod...I am however helping code the side project that was spawned from this mod and is something that will be released soon to the community and is currently in a very usable state. Pabloko and I are both working on that one as we get time though he is focusing more on the MP mod which is more important atm which leaves me time to focus on the other little fun project.

I will ask that you please refrain from calling any of this project a fake. Pabloko and P3ti are NOT affiliated with the previous member that was posting faked info on a multiplayer mod. That is a different member and this mod however IS working as they currently have it. I would like to think that my word should be good enough to you m8 since I have never lied to you or anyone else here and can finally say that my dream of a multiplayer is finally on the verge of being realized.

I will ask everyone else to please not start any arguments here about the multiplayer mod because the first hint of an argument that I see and I will instantly start handing down 30 day bans since BB is not a place for fighting or arguing about things but a place of sharing and and enjoying modding this great game. I personally have been very nice and not gotten involved in too many of the arguments that have gone on here but now I am just a bit weary of seeing them. I do not like conflict and prefer to not even be involved in it.
I also don't want anyone bugging the guys asking to join the team or asking to be a beta tester. We will let everyone know when the time is right when we need testers to help test things out but for now we have everyone we need. The entire biblio-techa team is involved with this mod and doing everything we each can to help P3ti and Pabloko and this is all the people needed for the time being.
Anyways, lets get this show going!

You know, it might not be a bad idea to just have the let's play videos in their own section in the walkthrough area of the forum so they are easier to find and view.
I will admit that I do actually like your videos and will say great job on them. The only thing that should matter to YOU in the end is whether or not YOU are happy with the way the video turned out and imo, they are all turning out rather well.
I myself for all my long list of skills and talents...am horrible when it comes to making videos which is why I don't post any even though I do have a youtube channel which I have had for quite a lot of years. Mainly just use it now to get hold of people that I can only reach via youtube.

If you want to be technical about it all....sharing ANY stock file from the game can be considered piracy since all of it is copyrighted material. However, since we are modding various things...that puts it into sorta a grey area and as such is open to interpretation.
I know of some companies that consider modding to be a big copyright violation...(can anyone say ea games?) where others embrace it as a way to make more money since it gains them far more dedicated fans.
Rockstar has been back and forth about modding due to the whole 'hot coffee' mod from the san andreas modding community which made them tighten down all of their games to make modding much harder...but NOT impossible.
This is just like the mega mod that I am working on. This will be modding nearly every file in teh game and to get around the whole copyright violation/piracy part I will be distributing the mod most likely in the form of one giant patch system that will patch a completely stock bully (steam or retail) and 'install' the entire mod since distributing the entire world.img can be considered a form of piracy since if you think about it....if someone was to download each of the 'file backups' one at a time from here that many others have posted long before....and put it all together...they would have a nearly complete and full working game.
I may have to talk with the staff to revise the rules regarding what files can be distributed and if they can't then work out with everyone here a very friendly method for distributing certain mods. This will make sure that anyone downloading certain files has at least a full copy of the game on their system and well...if it IS pirated...then it is their choice and I actually can understand why piracy exists....it doesn't exist for the intention to harm the companies...but rather because most companies put their stuff so out of reach of most people that piracy is the only way to even get things.....even though I have not pirated anything in ...probably 20 years now....and can get nearly anything I want free of charge or at a very good discount....not everyone can do the same thing.

No tool currently exists for this file format. it is not the same as what was used for the gta games and will require a custom tool to be coded. i currently have my hands full working on a massive mod and can't spare any attention or time to do this yet.
