My Problems with the Bully game
« on: March 07, 2008, 01:22:53 PM »
Well, I opted to get Bully instead of Army of Two. I heard that there are certain problems and glitches with the game. This is from gameinformer.com:

"We have just become aware of the issues people are having with Bully: Scholarship Edition on Xbox 360. It appears that some older 360s are experiencing framerate issues, freezes and other problems. You have our word that we never experienced any of this in QA - in any of our offices or at Microsoft. I am horrified, and we are now working around the clock to rectify this situation. Thanks to Neo-Gaf for bringing this matter to our attention. We love our games and put a huge amount of energy and care into making them all that they can be. We would never shove anything out the door - we never have and never will. We apologize to everyone affected for the inconvenience. - Respectfully, Sam Houser"

Well, mr. houser is right on with the framerate issue. It is most definetely choppy. But, he is dead wrong about this happening with older 360's. My 360 is an arcade console with a manufactured date of September 2007. Obviously, not an old console. Also, I took the game to a friend's house. His console has a November 2007 date. It also freezes on his console. So, for the record, the issues are directly related to the game. The console's birth date has nothing to do with the issues at all. I'm glad a patch will soon be issued.***Note***The framerate issue is not my biggest concern. The freezing of the game is what bothers me so much.

« Reply #8 on: March 10, 2008, 08:53:15 AM »
Ok so I got Bully SE on 360 the day it came out. Played it for a few hours in the evening after work and it played fine. Actually didnt even hear about the issues till last friday. So this wkend I played it non stop (had to have put at least 15 hours into it) and it crashed on me a total of 3 times. Twice durring the "Glass House" mission and once more @ a random spot outside the Vale beach house.
Its annoying to be sure but so far not that big a deal...espeically if they get a timely fix out a.s.a.p.
Any word on when the fix will drop?

I can only presume they were testing the game on the newer systems and the problem came to light when to sale as it seems to be the older systems that it's happening on.

God i hope they don't find similar problems with GTA

I've heard it's happening on newer systems, as well.

And my friend got her 360 before Christmas, and she got the RROD.

How old are you? Your language skills are appalling. I feel like I am listening to a second grader read a paragraph about what they did over their weekend.
