Gold Suit problem...

I'd been following the Brady Games and GameSpot strategy guides as well as a few from GameFAQs to unlock the Gold Suit by collecting every piece of clothing. Even though all sources state that you simply need to "buy" all of the clothing, meaning secret items which are unlocked without money aren't included, my Gold Suit never came. So I continued to unlock every piece of clothing, which I apparently have from checking with the guides, but the Gold Suit still didn't arrive. Is this a version (Australian), disc copy or saved file problem? Where's my damn Gold Suit?!

Yes, I mentioned in the original post that the first thing I had done was buy all of the purchasable clothing from all of the stores. Although, I was running around the main building today picking lockers for fun and for some reason I unlocked Black Cargo Pants again! I'd already bought them from one of the shops... has my saved file glitched or something?

Yeah I thought had a porblem like this too. But the problem for me was that I had to check the shops again for which I clothes I didn't buy. It seems I forgot to buy the headgear from the school shop. But anyway, did you also go to the carnival to buy the clothes using tickets?

That and maybe you have to pick lockers to find clothes that can only be found inside the lockers.

if u havent done this already or someone hasnt already posted it i didnt read the intire thread but u have to buy the things from the carnival souvinair shop with tickets i unlocked it when i bought everything from the school store, auqaberry, and final cut and the carnival

Are you sure you bought clothes from all the stores (list below) That is the only thing you have to do, buy all the clothes. I suggest that you go back to each store and check again. The gold suit should appear under the costumes menu in your warddrobe

  --Aquaberry Fashions (Old Bullworth Vale).
  --Worn In Used Clothing (Bullworth Town).
  --The Final Cut (New Coventry).
  --The Souvenir Tent at the Carnival (you need to win Tickets at the
    Carnival Games to trade for the Clothes - best to wait until after
    completion of Photography 5 so you can get double tickets and make it
    easier to obtain Clothes).

It appears on the map as a barber shop, but you can buy clothes from it too. The majority is punk.

Arg. i always get confused. Which side of the map is New Coventry?  I'm trying to find the Final Cut.

You don't have to have all gnomes or G&G cards since I have had the gold suit and I haven't collected all of those stuff.

When you get off the bridge, you have to go right, there's a gray sign that will say 'New Coventry' and an arrow underneath it will be pointing to the right. Right after that sign is an underpass, and  you're there. I used to forget all the time, too, until I realized there was a sign pointing to it. :X
