Finding Nodes

I've been wondering, do modders have sources of finding nodes. Or do they guess what the nodes they're searching for?

I've been finding a way to extract the .cat files, still haven't found an extractor for it.

Someone like madman might be able to help you, but I haven't seen him for awhile. But your best bet is probably open the .cat files with a hex editor.

Yes I have tried opening .cat files using the HEX editor.
But when I did, I couldn't understand the words. I might merely find my own ways to do it myself when help doesn't come up. Thank you anyways.

when using hex editor, scroll to the bottom and you will see some strings, won't help completely, so your best bet now is use daboss's node-o-matic

Well, I've seen it. But, to be specific, I've been finding nodes for the P_Striker_A evades. The nodes that were sent there weren't the complete nodes. I've been making a mod that involves most moves from the Preps. Pretty much mixing all styles together & I've been planning to make a mod that is not yet named but it involves the mod that I'm yet to finish. I'm still finding a way to extract these .cat files tho.

i would like to know if u can put harvesting nodes on the map they would have to move with the nodes when the respawn  natural gardens,
natural herb gardens as these dont respawn in the same place
