its rare you will find a game nowadays which was a "villian" winning, its a shame i would find it more fun to play as, even if in the ultimate end you "hero" still didnt stop him or sumfin

REIGJFFRE YES! That's exactly what the ending needed.

It didn't have have Jimmy PLAUSIBLY winning. The way it ended was through a freak accident by the two boys falling off a building. Yet STILL being overheard by their Principle, despite being inside his office the whole time this was going on. Blows my mind.

There are bad endings, in old games anyway. In Contra: Hard Corps, there was a bad ending if you decide to join the bad guy Colonel Bahamut, same with Streets of Rage 1.
