ide.img Help? Please?

Hey, I'm new on this board, so if anyone could help, that would be awesome.

What I want is simple: a download link to an ide.img file that only is modified to have the following characters in free roam:
Gary Smith
Pete Kowalski
Russell Northrop (so that he's doing more than just standing around)
Derby Harrington
Johnny Vincent
Earnest Jones
Ted Thompson
and Edgar Munsen

That's It. No Carnival freaks in free roam. No editing out prefects and police. No changed fighting style for the characters. No 'prefects as students' or anything like that. Just the characters I've stated above. If someone could give me a download link to an ide.img file that does this, that would be awesome

Also, I can't hex edit the file because it keeps saying that the file's corrupted. Any help on that would also be appreiciated

I see it as ide.rar file. Does it make any difference to ide.img? If so, then where do I paste it?

You are supposed to extract the rar file with winrar or other program. Inside the rar there will be the img and dir files that should go in the objects folder. Don't forget to backup!

just wanted the clique bosses in free roam. they ARE the most important characters in the game, so why shouldn't you get to talk/fight them during Endless Summer?

But why not to let the other guys be around...I mean,why so specifically those...And many of those won't talk for some reason when interacting in free roam

well, who else do you want? im guessing that the bosses don't have as much speech because the developers weren't planning on them being in free roam

They do have speeches...In game files...But for some reason,they won't trigger
