I'm aiming for a freeroaming RP-ish thing where people can engage in various of events.
I'm not sure how RPG elements would work, but it would be a cool thing to implement.
It's very unclear on what we can do, but I'm surely aiming for a RolePlaying server.
Lol, what is it that costs?
I had a very popular Minecraft server once that i hosted my self. It was like 20+ people on it all the time 24/7. It didn't cost me more than the internet bills.
And i dont think 100 people will be playing Bully MP like Simon said. So i don't think it i will cost anything to keep a server up more than the internet bills.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to host my Bully server once this gets released
Minecraft is a very different game. In fact, it was made with Multiplayer in mind. Bully-MP is just a mod and won't be as stable as hosting a Minecraft server would be.
Like I said, I don't want to have my PC running 24/7. Especially when rendering/uploading videos or doing the podcast. It would probably be a strain on my weaksauce internet connection and also make players experience lag when I render videos or upload big files.
Also, I want to aim for 100 maximum players, regardless of how many we expect to be playing it.
Bully has a much bigger following than you think and it seems pointless to limit it to 35. 35 players on a map as big as Bullworth? Nope.
