You need to throw anything you have at him.

Do not I repeat do not attempt to fight him up close where he can swing his hammer.

Just run to one side of the room, start throwing your crap at him, then if u run out of crap to throw, just use your slingshot.

Btw break down crates, they have cans of ream cola which will really help you out.

Lots and lots of slingshot. Hit him a bunch of times as he comes towards you, then run across to the other end of the room. Repeat as many times as necessary.

First off, this needs to be in the mission walkthrough forum.

Second, don't triple post, as it's quite annoying.

Third, try using firecrackers. The slingshot is a bit weak.
