I wish they would keep all the rides they had in the old parks like Coney Island.

What was this place you worked at? I worked at Kings Island for a summer never saw anyone get hurt though.

Who Me ?  It was a second-rate place north of Indy called Old Indiana Fun Park. After that season, the place went bankrupt, then into recivership.  The grounds were eventually sold to some eccentrics who tore down all the buildings, sold the rides, put a 10-foot fence around the place, and turned it into a wild animal preserve.

We used to have an amusement park nearby called "Whalom Park".  It was there since the early 1900s, but it closed around 2000.  Now it's completely gone and there are tons of huge apartment buildings being constructed on the site....

Ah, the memories of going there as a kid....

You can't find many amusement parks now days, the ones that are there are big name ones. I remember going to Disney World and having to wait about and hour and half to ride one ride.

That, or you can go to the county fairs, they usually have a few rides set up for the week or so of the fair.  Same with the State Fairs, at least in the midwest here.

Haha, state fairs....I find that funny. We have multiple fairs in the same state and the same county sometimes all at once, ususally in September.  My town has its own fair even.
