Going trough narrow crack in the wall,something shining back there.I reach for my pick and try to make a way out of this dark and mossy hole.I climb up and see fields,mountains,forests.

Actually, they are for power generation.  Each of these new units are expensive, but they harness the free power of the wind to turn generators for electricity, much like a hydro-electric dam does.
