Up close and personal
« on: September 04, 2011, 12:10:18 PM »
Topic title says all.

///

The dodgeball! I have no clue what the symbol is.

Just some more crap in Jimmy's room.

Found on dumpsters.

I'd like $300 a day. :U Last one is a bit hard to read...

"Shrimp.....$0.63/lbs
Bananas....$1.23/lbs

Deli sandwiches"

Iunno what the very bottom says.

The punk hoodie! I wish I knew what the side says. And I'm loving those pins.

Never noticed the skulls on the urban sports long t-shirt before. It also reminded me of the time I played he original Bully and zoomed into Lola's boobs. I noticed a faint skull on her shirt. I don't think it returned in Scholarship Edition.

I'm having the same problem as Chrissy did yesterday where images won't post. So here's an attachment; it's the blue bike you get from shop class. It looks like it has a blue fireball logo on it.

I love that bike! It's my favorite!

I like what you did here, I ALWAYS get up close to objects like these, the detail is incredible.

Rockstar sure put a lot of details in the game. I don't think many people take the time to observe all the little details. A lot of stuff like this seems overlooked imo.

The one thing I hate are the sloppier graphics you see here and there. The ones that look better from a distance, but look way to blurry when you zoom in.

Have you looked at the textbooks? A lot of detail there.

Well you have to note that not everything is rendered in the same resolution so as to save memory.

The textbooks that students carry? Yeah, I've looked at those. I've also zoomed in on the comics all over Jimmy's floor and in Dragon's Wings. That place is cool, man. All the G.I. Jeff action figures and the blackboard with all the names on there. So cool.

I think the dodgeball has a bull on it. I'm on a netbook, so I flipped it over and it kind of makes me think of a bull.

I flipped the image all kinds of ways and still can't make out what it is.

Or maybe the red and blue is like a circular 'case' to contain the bull, that way they don't have to draw the entire animal and it makes it look sporty and ESPN-like.

H, these are absolutely great finds.  Mercury & I did something like this awhile back with "Little Devil" firecrackers.  He found the file somewhere and 'unrapped' one.

Thanks! And I've seen that topic before! It was a really neat discovery. I'm going to attempt to get pictures of the firecrackers and Volcano 4000, if there's none on that thread already.
