I like Game Trailers when I'm doing research on any games I intend to buy. They have good reviews. I use them to determine if I want to spend $60 or not.

You need to get your PS3 hooked up online. There's a lot of demos you can try out on PSN.

I intend to. Right now I don't have the needed parts for hooking it up.

Yup. For all of the games I got I didn't use PSN though. I used the game sites I trust. I just do some really good "research" into games before I decide to spend $60 on them.

Having online though enables you to be able to play online. This give you more of your money you spent on it.

True. Its not always online playing I'm looking for. Sometimes I just want a good story in the game.

That's the problem though it's getting harder to find those. The only thing that's got a good story is mostly and RPG now.

Online playing has kinda dominated the gaming industry. Almost all games need to have it. It takes away any real effort into a good story though.

It doesn't have to though, Uncharted 2 did it with keeping the great story.

Some games succeed in that. Splinter Cell and Syphon Filter are great examples. One of the best online games is Red Dead Redemption, that held an amazing story.

Red Dead isn't online, it's single player.

But there's a multiplayer option, which requires online hookup. I have yet to use it.

I like the Gears of War online co-op. It meshed quite nicely as solo or co-op.
