I think Max was a Bully before, he likes to beat people and wants to abuse of his authority...
Edward Seymour II was a Prep, his name already tells it. Plus, he wears a Prep scarf in the Winter.

 Russell looks more like he's 35.  I think its safe to assume the leaders are seniors because I don't think that older students would take orders from younger students....
