Yes, where the hell did you think wire was made.  Infact the largest wire factory in the world in the early 1900s used to be a few miles away from me.
  It is odd how things have different names in different regions.  Around here, we have soda, in the midwest, they have "pop"

Some stores actually make it in the back but I didn't think they would usually have separate factories.

The coke (not the yayo, I mean, the soda :D) has made the Santa dressed red in one of their adverts and we kept it. Normally he's dressed green.

Like Michigan, they have 1 foot in the grave already if both aren't already in by now.  It seems to vary drastically around here not on the state, but by the city.  The town I live in is holding it's own, but some cities around here are over 10% unemployment.
