Isn't Shawn Lee the one who let it slip that something IS going on and started so many rumors? I would really want to say he's making a cover-up.

Shawn Lee was the reason thoughts of Bully 2 really gained confidence. He's either telling the truth or something else. Developers would want a surprise of ANY game. He could be making people lose their hopes and suddenly R* surprises the hell out of us once again. Just because of what Bully was though I don't want to lose my condifence and hopes....

It does make sense, R* likes to surprise us, I just really hope that Shawn Lee didn't get our hopes for nothing.

I've always been hoping for another Bully. After so much time though you kinda lose hope. its become more of a dream that I probably won't see by a longshot. I'll always hold for what Bully was though and what a second Bully WOULD be like. I have lost confidence for others as well, mostlt because they're stuck in controversies and will never see a store shelf.

I don't get it, nobody ever made a major fuss about GTA, well at least not to the point of having the game be banned in a country (Brazil), the funny thing is the game really focused on STOPPING the bullying to the innocent kids, Jimmy only beat the people who had it coming. So really I just don't get why people like Jack Thompson had to protest against this game, what a douche bag. :mad:

People thought it would make their own innocent children into bullies as well. And for Jack Thompson, he's fuckin nuts. Because his kid was playing HALO, he took him to a live police exercise with guns. You're supposed to keep kids away from guns, not bring them closer. I hate Thompson. He's the epitome of banning games. He'll take any game and try to ban it with lame ass excuses. And he has plenty of followers. Because of the shit they do I lose my good games and developers are shut down. Let's remind ourselves that all of this is for childrens' influence and parents' feelings. Anybody who sees that as a worthy cause to banning a game has issues.

Really? I thought GTA4 was short I beat it around 15 hours doing nothing but the story. San Andreas took over 25 hours, mainly for the long traveling you have to do sometimes though.

I've spent the most time with Vice City out of any other GTA. There's just something about it, everything just seems perfect about it. The setting, the feel of the game, music goes with it perfectly. I'd love to see them do something with either Vice City or Tommy again.

Of course it will it's a really popular and successful series, GTA IV broke sales records when it first came out. GTA has made Rockstar what it is today, besides no one can make an open world game like they can.

Well you have so many more Saint's Row, The Godfather, inFamous, Prototype, Scarface and others. They are fun, but just can't compare to the whole GTA series, RDR, or Bully. If these other companies were smart they'd take notes on Rockstar's games.

Ever since GTA 3 I've always wondered how they could top it with the next game. Now they pulled out everything and surprised me with IV. Once again I'm wondering how they could top it, it's amazing how they do it every time. They have got some amazing people developing this series.

Yea it didn't but I loved what it was about, a man basically with nothing to lose. Being hunted and wanted killed on site. Plus it mixes in the action with stealth, I'd want a Bully before anything else. But a Manhunt would a plus as well.

No, it didn't. You could go back in the Chapter you were in and roam around, to a point....But I missed being able to roam freely.
RE was about the same, although you were 'shut out' from being able to go back after you passed certain areas.

That's a mere open chapter concept kind of like with The Warriors I'd guess. As for the brutality there isn't much else like it. Some games have a lot of gore like gears of War but still isn't the same.

I don't really care, although this is my most posted site. My next most posted is just over 2000, and another at over 900. There's others that I have from just scattered posts to over 200. Many sites are much more restricitive, and I only post on-topic. Here we are more relaxed, and I feel it keeps us going. Different strokes for different folks, you have to go with the ebb and flow of whatever site you are on.

There are some things ouside the U.S. you just won't find here, but not always can we get there. Brazil and Africa have some of the most exotic animals. Brazil alone has the most vast and dense population of wildlife on earth. Its all mainly found in the rainforests. Africa's animals are having a bit more of a struggle as some populations are decreasing, such as the cheetah, with only 10,000 left on earth.

The biggest buget buster is these wars we get involved in that run into the hundreds of Billions of dollars. Online playing has kinda dominated the gaming industry. Almost all games need to have it. It takes away any real effort into a good story though.

Making a totally new map wouldn't be a bad idea. I would take it if they just add to the current one though. Either one seems fine to me. What happens with the characters, I'm not sure. I don't think we could get rid of Jimmy and the others though. I think we should have more characters added to the ones we already have. To move them to another map and give them a new story to follow would be cool.

Many people had the reaction of dismay when James Earl Cash didn't appear in MH 2. But the point was....James Earl Cash's story was done. It was time for a new story, and a new character. And, the storyline of Daniel Lamb was just as good as James Earl Cash was. And it was different, which isn't always a bad thing.
Jimmy's story is done. Where does he go from here, gamewise ? He beat the Cliques, beat the system, beat the crazy fucked-up bad kid, became King of the School.....What could top that ? Bringing him back to beat the missions, pass the classes, earn the respect, all over again would be redundant.
And we have already explored the Bullworth Academy and the Towns. I can navagate the streets in my sleep. So I want to pop out $60 just to return to the same place ? Naw, for that kind of money, I want a new place, a new story, and new characters....Not a re-hash.

We still can't get rid of Jimmy. If we don't play as him, we need to at least have him in the game somewhere. Same for the others. I want to keep the old characters while introducing new ones. To have Jimmy as someone you interact with would make the story interesting.
For the whole Manhunt story, James Earl Cash's story was clearly ended with him gaining his freedom. To put him back in would be weird. A new story was needed. Bully is different. With how the first Bully ended the next one can go in multiple directions. Its all about what the developer sees best.

There's really no point for him to be a second-rate minor character in a new story. I like it that he went out on top, and that's the way I feel that should be. What's your new character that you control going to do, go beat the shit outta Jimmy ? That's just gonna tarnish his image.
I'd rather have someone like a Tony (from the NES) be our new main character, a boy who isn't a thug dumbass who has a history of being kicked out of every school he ever attended, who has the brains not to be led astray by the likes of another Gary character. I was yelling at Jimmy in that Chapter 5 cutscene, "Don't fall for those assholes egging you on into tagging city hall, can't you see they're playing you ?"

They weren't until GTA V. LA Noire also has named streets. Red Dead Redemption didn't have named streets, but with the wild west setting I don't think names were needed.

It's really too early to give up hope, IMO. Some games just take a while before they're announced (like Twisted Metal, for example).
Personally, I would love to see a blend of elements from Bully and The Warriors. By that, I mean the main character pacifying the local cliques (both in-school/university campus and outside), and then, with their help, taking the fight to the entire city.

R* must of found out about him slipping the game out when there not allowed to say anything about upcoming games. I had given up hope shortly after finishing the game. I found other games like fallout, bioshock and the like. But then, after finding this board, I have a renewed sense of strength and faith in bully 2. I KNOW bully 2 is coming out. I just know it. It is a matter of when though. I would bet my freedom on the fact that bully 2 is coming out.

Rockstar is coming out with Bully 2 or Canis Canim Eit 2 for Ps3,Xbox 360,Wii I don't what the story is but it's coming out their going to make it. Don't lose your hopes I will mod the hell out of this game lol I hope it's as good as the first. The things they should improve on.
1.More Save Locations
2.More Fighting Styles.
3.More Aggressive AI or Difficulties.
4.More Places to explore Instead of locking every door.
5.Better story ending mission instead of characters fighting with no real explanation.
6.Better Boss Character Move Sets more Aggressive Bosses I want them to be hella hard.
7.More Cliques I want about 15 to 20 Cliques 6 is to small
8.Make it like the warriors have many cliques with different weapons and fighting styles each character can have their own style instead of the same style for each character.
9.Better Story
10.Better Clique Hiring System.
11.Better boxing and mma type styles
12.More Activities and things to do in free roam like street fights and different Fight Club type activities.
If they improve this they will have a better game and it will be good they just need to improve the
characters aggression and give each character their own style.

They will be making one. It is taking long maybe because they are making the game far more better. And it was a don't lose hope type suggestion. Bully 2 will be made it just takes Lazy R* 50,000 years to think of a new plot. I have a source... Look up Bully 2 on google and you'll have what you want. The only reason it might not get the release is because their financial on Bully was low.
If they spice it up a bit they would have a better sale. So as I was saying its in the making foemr 2012 or 2013. Still got my hopes high. If they do make it I hope it was worth the wait and not some crap on a disk.
