You know, this may be quite mean, but I can't really blame the members for getting worked up at youknowwho's posting. Of course, that doesn't mean they should insult him, but I just thought I'd say this.

I agree. And just look at the rudeness toward G-Man. If he doesn't want to share his secrets then just leave it alone instead of insulting him and calling him names.

Chrissy already had to post two topics warning about misbehavior over there. I hope these people get their act together soon.

Unwarranted hatred is wrong regardless of how much work a person has put forward. But yeah, I don't agree with the G-man hate either. Sure, I'm not very approving of his refusal to aid the modders (since not everyone is skilled with modding), but they also have to realize that people like him have other priorities. And with leechers like the person I was talking about in my last comment, to some extent I can't blame him for not wanting to share his mods.

About the modding section, I'm in the same boat as you guys. I like G-man and I'm pissed at the lack of respect he's been getting. The other modders out there need to get a grip. G-man worked hard to get to where he is now. While it would be "the nice thing to do" to share his findings with others, he is in no way obligated to do so. He has every right to protect what is his.

I really can't blame G-man. If i worked hard to create something I wouldn't want to just hand it over to someone. You don't see a successful CEO just hand out super promotions to peons simply because they kiss ass. Good things come from hard work, not sitting on your ass having stuff handed to you on a silver platter.

Actually the warnings were aimed at the people calling bigbif081 an ass kisser.

It's a very rude way of putting it, but he does leech and post unproductive stuff.

The G-man hate has died down these days. But true, he's under no obligation to share anything.

Personally, I only wish he released Derby's complete boss style earlier...everything else (like spawning peds in the more obscure interiors), I can perfectly understand why he doesn't want to share it.
