That's really unfortunate. You're right, two months isn't really a good time frame to start a relationship around. Hopefully you'll meet someone new.

So, I am the only loser not doing anything?
Make that two.
I'll only end up breaking her heart.

My time here in Saudi Arabia is limited. She's here to stay.

Tough situation. No matter what you do, you'll probably never get a chance to Be with her again. If you go for it in those two months, you might end up breaking up, so you'll ne'er get a slice of that again. If you just leave, she'll find another dude (maybe). Tough, tough.

At her age (20), it's more than likely her parents are going to arrange a marriage with another man soon.

Ah well. And it's not 'might'. It's for sure. I'm not going to keep in touch exclusively through phone and Skype. That's not my thing.

I'm better off exercising restraint. I wouldn't have to bear the burden of guilt, and more importantly, she wouldn't get hurt.

Plus, with me starting my new degree in a few months in Malaysia, I'm bound to find a girl in university. And considering it's a very multicultural and multiracial society, I'm sure I'll fit right in.

Yes, writing code, and learning all the fundamentals of a video game (what makes a game, all aspects of game development, etc.)

Probably not. I'm gonna start off with internet/iPhone games.

Then, I'd go for one of those bigger studios...not sure which.

Thanks. There are quite a lot of Japanese studios I'd love to work with, but out of Western studios, I'd say:

- Naughty Dog
- Insomniac Games
- Bungie
- Eidos
- Crytek

I would say Blizzard, but their merger with Craptivision shot that down.

I thought so as well. I wouldn't have thought it would take that long.

Time is relative.  Depends on how fast you drive.
