That's just security. I'm the same way. I try to make everything I have secure as possible. I also have so many files and programs its insane. I'm gonna take a LONG time in moving them. I might try to put everything into folders and send 'em over to the laptop. Sending these files individually is fuckin' nuts!

I don't know how long I'll be on here guys, at least for a little while. Things are really going down hill in my family's affairs, so much of my attention won't be here. Sorry guys. I'll try to be in at least once per day if I can

I went through similar issues. It sucks. They can get in the way of other things. I'm sure nobody will mind you having an absence if needed.

Its not problems with my family getting along, its just that my Grandfather has been in the hospital for a few weeks, and we were just told that he has terminal cancer. I want to spend as much time as I can with him, we are very close.

That's a good thing to have (a relationship I mean). I never met my grandfather. He died before I was born. The only person I have left in my family is my mother. I've lost contact with eveyone else. My mother is the only person who cared about me out of my entire family and I'm very close with her. I know what it is to be close with someone. Its not gonna kill you to leave here for a while if you need to.

I was never really close with my grandfathers, they died when I was real young.

^Same, except one who died a few years ago. But we weren't very close mainly because he didn't have a clue what I was saying!

One of my grandfathers died before I was born. The other one disappeared from the picture. We lost contact with him. I would predict he's most likely dead now.

One of mine died a few months after I was born. The other died in 2001, I really wish I would of got to know him better. He was in WW2, and now after growing up I got so many things I'd like to know about the war.

I never had much of a family. One thing that pisses me off is when I see people bitching how they hate their father. That's where I say they need to stfu and be happy they even have a father, 'cause I never had one. Some kids just really need to learn to appreciate what they have and stop being spoiled brats.

Understood, Mike.  There's someone in the family with the 'Big C' as well on my end.  She survived the first go-around back in '07, but this time is worse.  Take whatever time you need.

We all have some shit going on at home. If it really calls for it then you take some time off here. Its not like you need to be here 24/7 (even though you want to be  :)). I took my own absence and would do it again if necessary.

Emily might be gone for an undetermined period of time as she is grounded and her phone/laptop were taken away until further notice.

The parental units are not aware that I am on a computer.
