hey welcome to bully board
wow I can't belive there are parents that play bully most think its too violent, do you think so?
*grins* I'm not your average parent... I'm a geek.
As for the violence thing? I try to avoid playing the more violent bits in front of my kids because they're only little and it's hard for them to understand the context of what's going on. (I mean, I think it's okay to slingshot people who are picking on someone because he's a nerd, but it's hard to translate that to a five year old while you're concentrating!) Bully actually has some decent ethics about it: generally picking on people beneath you isn't a good thing in the universe, and the way the bullies are depicted is in a manner that hardly says "Being a bully is cool." I mean, Jimmy tends to be fair and just and defending the underdogs- that's cool in my book.
So yeah: it's too old for the kids right now, but when they're older, I'll have no qualms about them wanting to play it. I wish
I'd had this game when I was in high school!
The GTA games, though... they're a bit different.
