(I go out of this board for a few FRICKIN' weeks and fate shovels crap to my face. Guess where that came from.)
Dean wanders around the campus, seing as he managed to escape Kay and the others. He managed to avoid the jocks as they were near the school entrance. Opting for the safter route, he went to the library, wanting to be ignored b the bullies. Unfortunately, he had to get out when he was accidentally seen by nerds and was nearly pursuaded to join them in a game of 'Grottos and Gremlins'.
He walked out of the library with and armful of books obscuring his view. He managed to walk forward, but he was unable to see where he was going. The boy swerved to the left at the Bull Fountain, almost tipping into the water.
Dean managed not to walk into any greasers, but as he entered the first garage from the gate, his luck ran out. Books and pages flew everywhere and he fell on the concrete below. He brushed his hair off his face and muttered, "I'm really sorry for that."
He looked up and blushed as he saw a brown-haired boy half naked, standing over a motorcycle with grease spattered all over his stomach. "You must be the new kid," said the boy, pulling up Dean with a flourish. "I guess I am. I'm sorry for bumping into you," said Dean, swallowing in nervousness.
"It's alright. Anyway, I need help here. I'm trying to re-build the chasis and re-work the frame of this Harley. I'm also trying to make it a bit more fuel efficient. I don't have much money, but I'll let you leave here unscratched if you help me," said the other boy, tossing him a wrench. Dean looked statled for a moment, but he nodded and started to fuss around the bike as well.
Dean put his vest and shirt away too, not wanting them to be stained. "I'm Dean Valefor by the way," said Dean, offering the taller boy a hand. "Name's Johnny Vincent," said the other boy, shaking his hand and turning back to the bike.
