i bought an ar max like 2 years ago when i got my fat ps2 but when i got my slim one it stopped working any have a clue why

Did you buy the memory card that comes with it?

If you did, make sure it's in the memory card slot.

yeah i have the memory  card when i let my friend borrow it it worked im all like WTF!? so yeah it dont work on my ps2 and i wanna try it wit cheats so bad!!!! :(
