General Discussion Spam

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but what is going on with the general discussion section? A lot of threads are made by strange accounts that have only 1 or 2 posts, spamming the place with some strange "casino" links and whatnot. Is this dangerous for the site? Any hacking or viruses involved? Do the global moderators know about this? I mean, it's obvious that they should notice, sorry for making this thread, but I thought I should do something.

Well, as we do not know what should be, we should ignore and avoid clicking on any type of suspicious link, thus preventing something bad from happening to us

We've got a nasty problem with spammers ever since the site came back online. We try to remove them as soon as we can, but we need AJ around to give the system a better update to better prevent this shit from happening, since it is his website.

All I can say is to be patient and ignore them :D They'll be removed as soon as they're spotted, which unfortunately usually means after they've posted, derp.

Yeah he exists, though I admit he could check it a bit more often, but, he's got life to deal with which is understandable. I'm sure this is the case for most people. Or a lack of interest.
