New Bully 2 Speculation

I'm going to be honest.


Bully is nothing when compared with other R* titles.


People love it yes, but Rockstar are a business.

A business loves money.

What are Rockstar going to do more likely, a 2nd Bully game or a 4th Red Dead game*?

Despite Bully being released on 5 platforms (PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 Market, PC) it didn't outsell Red Dead.

Rockstar hasn't forgotten Bully's existence though, a few months back they had a "throwback jobs" post where they posted player created themed jobs from San Andreas, Red Dead and Bully.

Obviously, the SA themed matches were around the ghetto areas, RDR's was in the desert and Bully's was by the university/college.

As others have said, there isn't really much to be gained by releasing Bully 2, sadly. I'd buy it, and I know a lot of other people who would too, but it's not GTA. Or even Red Dead, for that matter.

It's not like Half-Life 3, which has been left unreleased for over a decade now. Rockstar are a much bigger company than Valve, and the Half-Life series would perhaps be Valve's main source of income, along with Portal and Counter-Strike. Bully never was that significant for Rockstar. Doesn't mean it's not a good game, because it was great, but with a title like "Bully", you couldn't really give it that much publicity.

Probably be the same with Bully 2 and Manhunt 3.
