Duke Nukem Forever's problem was being made by a shit developer that is Gearbox Software. I personally go into every game not expecting much at all, and I don't buy hype with any game. Humans make games, and they try to cater to millions of unique and diverse people, who have different opinions about everything.
I will say this though, we have been blessed with Bully, Rockstar was kind enough to do that. If I never see another one, well sadly I'll be happy with what I have. I enjoyed Doom 3 after its long wait, I look forward to Doom 4, which has also feel into that development part of hell. Still waiting for the next Half Life though lol.
Still, since 2001 I've enjoyed every game made by Rockstar, and I'm trying to not come off as a fanboy. They are one of the few developers I actually have faith in tbh. It could be worse, we could get a yearly cycle of Bully games each year, that pretty much feature the same thing. I do understand when the wait isn't worth it though, and it sucks. This is just my opinion on the matter.
