A lot of the clothes in the game are hinky.  I wouldn't want to be wearing that stuff, for the most part. Seriously.

In fairness, I think the leather jacket looks okay during chapter 3. All the other greasers have their jackets zipped up for the cold weather so you don't look particularly out of place.

I honestly like the leather jacket (to each ones own I guess) but yeah I wouldn't wear anything from this game irl. Too much for me or not my style (girl lmao).

The clothing of this game is based on school uniforms for the most part. During that age you usually don't enjoy school as it is, so having to follow a dress code and wear a uniform just makes it suck more. You might as well join the military.
