Lua questions.
« on: April 30, 2013, 08:24:17 PM »
Since I got the hang of it now, is it possible to comPile the script , play around with it then add more to it without restarting with a new arc race file? For ex:
I added my faction respect settings and I liked it but would I be able to go back and edit something ?

As long as you still have your source file .lua if you wanna edit some just edit whatever you have your .lua file called.

You'll need to compile it, replace the old ArcRace1.lur file each time you make some changes.

You will have to compile a new copy of ArcRace1.lur from the source script you originally made the compiled script from.

Just do it all over again. You'll get used to it eventually.

Practice makes perfect....that is how we all learned here...simple trial and error and all that.

Hopefully you can spice it up a little with some tomato sauce, and some extra minced meat.

Fixed.
