Arlington, how do make nifskope can show the nif file like this
my nifskope just can show white image no color at all
and btw, do you learn skinning from swegta skin tutorial???
Here's a little tutorial:
1.) Extract both the .nif and the .nft from the world.img [For this tutorial, I'm using GRlead_Johnny]
2.) Double click the .nft
3.) You'll get a message saying this:
Click "Select the program from a list"
4.) If you don't see NifSkope listed on the list, click browse.
If you do see NifSkope on the list, skip to step 7.5.
5.) Double click the "NifTools" folder and then double click the "NifSkope" folder.
6.) Double click NifSkope.exe
7.) NifSkope will then be added to the list.
7.5.) Make sure "Always use the selected program to open this kid of file" is checked.
8.) Click OK and double click the NFT again.
NifSkope will load up but it will only display the names of the textures. This is normal.
Right click on the texture ending with _d.tga
9.) Export the _d.tga to the same place where the NIF is located. For this tutorial, the NIF is saved on the desktop.
10.) Double click your NIF and it'll have colour!
Yes, you can edit the extracted texture in any image editing program that supports .TGA.
No, I didn't learn from SWEGTA.
