Chuck did a lot, but there were others who helped too.

<Discussion revival team.>

We've noticed that the current discussion of the NES has been basically terminated with the final post agreeing to the previous one without adding anything else. So we've sent an agent of ours to stop the conversation from dying.

I've never thought about this but. How was the idea of the NES born anyway?

It was Mercury's idea to began the story.  Tony, Laurent, and Jake were his characters.  The first post sat for 3 weeks without a reply, then 'Miss Ordered' (who wasn't around long, shame cuz they was a good writer) replied, then some others did too.  I joined in on the third page.  Near the end of Chapter 1, I began to see the potential of the story, and Mercury and I exchanged many Emails regarding the direction of the story.

It was the birth of the B-B story publishing company.

I've read some of the first part. And that's pretty cool.

Thanks for the info, Chuck.

You too, Dave. I guess. P:

Parts of Chapter 1 are a disorganized mess.  I've re-edited and added about 9,000 words for better story transition in the edited version, which is not posted here (or anywhere).

Slight bump, but this made me laugh.

Anyways, to continue the convo... Chuck, HOW U SO CREATIVE?... Are you ever 'Inspired' by other pieces of work, or is it all just from the big brain you have up there?...  And, it's a damn shame that Merc himself is too busy being a 'Workout Freak' to bother going on BB, it'd be interesting for him to look at the story that he was largely responsible for creating... Where is that little french dude nowadays anyhow?

I think he left finally because of hormones and a girl....Just a guess.  I haven't heard from him in a long time.  I wish him well, however, in whatever he's doing now.  He should be in a University by now, I'd guess.

Initially, I wasn't going to join in on the story....I saw it as most any other FanFic, that it would peter out in time.  But, I put a post in I thought would be funny (about Tony stuffing Kurt into a trash can), and it just kinda went from there.

In Bully though, I had a unique opportunity, as I love the game, and had previously spent a great deal of time scouting out "Where Jimmy Can't Be Busted" as a personal project in the original PS 2 game, making a comprehensive list of such.  So, I already had a working knowledge of all the areas of the game, plus most of the characters were already laid out and defined to a certain extent.

My favorite author has always been King, who is a master of multiple character storylines and plots (aka "The Stand", "Under The Dome" and such).  I was really fascinated by the prospect of not only the school, but the towns themselves.  How does such corruption exist and thrive in a setting such as this ?  Isolated as it was, there had to be a deeper story there, some way to explain it.  And, some way to bring it all crashing down.

A random Google search remembered me of Bully Board. I'm really happy to see it's still active - and that this game can still motivate so much people.

I've been studying psychology this year. This is something that I really enjoy.

I've been through some of my first NES posts for the sake of nostalgia... And I have to say, whoa, my English skills were terrible !

Yes, they were, but I've fixed them in the edited edition, which I'm planning to post over again as Edits.

Drop by more often, read the rest of the story !   See how far Tony and the gang have come.
