U need to replace the edited fille with ur backup and then replace it with the file red doctor sent.

You'll have to post pictures or the hex itself if you want help from me. Otherwise, I can't answer you, since I don't understand your problem.

I think we're all having trouble understanding what you are saying. Do you want characters like Gary, Derby and others to appear in free-roam?... If so, follow this tutorial or if that's not what you want, please elaborate more.

1. Open up you're ide.img with HxD (Hex editor)
2. Press Ctrl+F and type in the characters name (the one who you want in free-roam) I will use Gary as an example.
3. When you type in Gary you will see this
 Gary....Nemesis_Gary_W......Medium..STUDENT.STAT_GS_GARY....Straf_Male..F_BULLY.null....null....ÿÿÿÿ/Global/

Now scroll down to where it says  ÿÿÿÿ/Global/ and you will see these numbers next to it

"00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF 2F 47 6C 6F 62 61 6C 2F"

You see the FF FF FF FF?
What you have to do now is replace the FF FF FF FF with "01 00 00 00"

@3xkids: If the above is what you're talking about, you need to post a picture of your HxD if you want us to point out where the problem is. Just saying "I tried it and it didn't work" doesn't help at all, since we don't know where the problem is.

ok i mean i did the ff ff ff ff thing and turned it to 01 00 00 00 for gary,darby,ted,and johnny but it doesnt work cause they never appear
