I was planning on using Edgar and it seems like a pretty good idea now that I think I have figured out how to do that.

There should be a way to change a character height/body with lua instead of using the ide.img method. So jimmy would look normal if you don't want to start the arcade machine.

Also you can make the zombies to always run and never take a breath editing the stats (I don't remember where exactly).

We'll probably make them use the halloween zombie-walk.

Hopefully this mod will be a success.
Also, feel free to post any more ideas (I also noticed that someone wanted to upload a map of where the survivors should spawn, by all means please do!).

it's from GTA IV zombie mod and it's a funny one, where a fat cop being chase by thousand of zombies
I just can smell that, this zombie mod for Bully will be as cool as this GTA IV

Hopefully it'll be. But the thing is that we have to fix ALOT of things and do a crapload of work. Also we'll need to add some secret stuff and easter eggs in order to spice it up a bit.

That thumbnail looks like the undead offspring of Hitler and Jeff the Killer.



Map's done and I've thrown some other suggestions into the mix. Pay absolutely no attention whatsoever to the lack of effort I put into those icons over there.

Key:

    Spots with faded outlines - Places things spawn. The bigger the spot, the more characters spawn.
    Spots without faded outlines - Possible spots for clique leaders to spawn
    Numbered purple spots - See Purple Spot Notes below.
    Very small black dots - Places where some supplies can be raided, I guess.


Spot Colour key:

    Blue: Jocks
    Brown: Greasers
    Cyan: Preppies
    Green: Nerds
    Orange: Townies
    Red: Zombies (The places they would gather at the most, but would still appear everywhere.)
    Yellow: Generic survivors, or somebody/a group from a random faction
    White: Bullies


Purple spot notes:

    Zombie freakshow exhibits (at least the ones that function correctly in free roam) could spawn here
    Pirate Vance fighting a zombie or two for the hell of it.
    Sledgehammer Norton
    The Jocks can store the vehicles they've stolen here
    The Go-cart is here, provided getting it passed the school bus isn't a problem.


Misc. Notes about certain spots/Suggestions:

    Earnest would be found in the observatory along with a random Jock, where he would be forced to work and make weapons for them. Of course you could knock out the Jock and take some of the weapons, though.
    The comic book shop would be locked at all times, however the basement extrance would still be open and there would even be a few nerds inside (And Earnest if he's not the Jocks' prisoner)
    The other nerd spot is a bit far-fetched and probably a bad idea, but it would be funny to see some of the nerds in that awkward collectible spot on that one roof.
    Johnny would be riding the fastest bike available, and it would be yours to keep if you stole it from him.
    The Jocks at the school gates would laugh at and taunt you during the day.

I'll get on it tomorrow and try to figure out what to do.
The Pirate fighting zombies sounds like fun!
Also having Norton with a sledgehamer go berzerk sounds like fun as well!  :euro:

Nah.. Isn't that like every minute?
Would be increadibly annoying. We're not adding any special zombies, we're just going to have fast, hungry and insane zombies. Their health will be fairly set so that the player can defeat them, but it'll be recommended to be on your guard and use weapons.

There probably is. I do recall mad saying something about that there is indeed a way to do so. I'll have a look at the timecycle file later.

To change the zombies speed just change "animation speed factor " in pedstats.dat to 115 that would be enough. For the "never have to take breath I will explain later since I forgot hpw its called in pedstats.dat
