I was modding Bully:SE with HxD Hex Editor. I must take player..player.. to Anim/Player.act.. so I gotta copy them, but I can't find Anim/Player.act..

Where the heck is that ? Can you take a screenshot of it ?

Just keep reading after player...player.

But here's a hint from me: Hex editing is officially an outdated method of modding Bully. Using lua scripts is far more efficient and much less of a headache.

I would use another one but, in the Tutorial I read, person is using HxD and if I use another one, maybe it's gonna be much longer. Are there any tutorials that's using Lua Scripts ?

Not yet, though I know this: Getting the lua scripts started first can be a headache (since you have to rewrite the script and all)...but once you've done the difficult part, all it takes then is swapping one or two parts of the script without worries of memory and all that.

You won't have to worry about that, though.

Look Gary, check out my tutorial.
http://www.bully-board.com/index.php?topic=15093.0

This is an easy tut to follow with, also you may need the fighting style of the character your changing skins to or else you'll be a midget.

Follow the tutorial I posted and if any problems ask Red, Mad, Stem for help, since I don't play Bully anymore but I did do a few mods which were easy after I learned how.

This does not take too long either, dude.

You do need HxD, actually.

But ... In Outasight's tut, he doesn't talk about HxD or any programs except Img Tool.

@Red
@Gary

I never ever needed to use Hex Editor when I changed skins, but I always had the fighting style for the person I wanted to change to so I didn't look like a midget.

I think you do need to use Hex if you still want to use jimmies style, though. But that's why I had the fighting style before I changed skins.

That's fine, but you might want to download Johnny vincents fighting style before changing skins to keep you from the hassel, I would of given you the link but the computer with all my Bully mods is currently getting fixed since it broke down.

But honestly, I'm not to torn apart about it.

Outasight has got it all wrong. You DO need HxD to change skins. The "fighting styles" he's thinking of is actually the 3D model, which is located in the ide.img. You have to swap models so that Jimmy fits the skin properly. Otherwise, the skin takes on Jimmy's shape.

Why would I lie to you when I have more experience in this than him?
