Secret Blue Skies Garage !
« on: March 05, 2012, 02:39:48 PM »
While farting around in Blue Skies, running over people with the Go Kart for the hell of it, I discovered quite by accident that I could drive through a closed garage door at the house on the far North end of Blue Skies (first house on the right past the bridge going South, Garage is attached to South side of house).  While the Garage door seemed ‘solid’ before I drove through it, after I breached it and had Jimmy inside, it just disappeared, and stayed like that, looking like a bike garage (although not as deep).  Difference was, the door never re-appeared unless I left the area.  So, I came back and tried it with a bike, and then again later with just Jimmy on foot.  The same thing happened each time.  It’s not a ‘safe’ area, as I purposely got busted inside there to find out.  Anybody else ever notice this ?

The garage is used in an exclusive mission in the schoolarship edition called ''the collector''. In the mission you have to steal 3 bikes for henry (or clint) and take them to the garage. The odd thing is you can get in the garage even if you are playing the ps2 version of the game (because the mission isn't in that version).

Ha !  Guess that explains that.  What's weird is how the door disappears AFTER you go through it in the PS2.  Since Scholarship Edition was released after Bully, what does this mean ?  Both in development at the same time, I wonder ?

Well, a scene from the Clint/Henry missions was included in the Holiday Trailer. I guess that they dropped them out of the original, but used them in the SE?

The mission might have originally been intended to be in the the PS2 game, but dropped because of reasons such as not having enough "room" on the disk or whatever. I know this was the case for that G&G game.

I've had my thoughts about whither it can be accessed after I've done the mission in SE. I think I wanted to dick around with it but never did because the door tipped me off as a no-go.

I've known about this for a while, but I could never figure out what it was for. Maybe it was just another scrapped idea. Sort of like the cat walks behind the hospital downtown.

Yeah, I always wondered just what they were there for.
