It's always something.  I never personally shot anyone (if you don't count BB guns and Paintball), but I came close once.  Just because I love blowing zombie's heads off with a shotgun or mowing down a hundred opponents in a video game doesn't mean I'm going to go out in RL and do that.  It's just a stress reliever for me.  In fact, one might say, video games like that KEEP me from being violent in the real world.

Games are just that, Games.  They're not real, no more that a Batman comic book is.  The actual Planet Earth is, and has been down through history, full of the most inhuman sick violence that sometimes beyond imagination.  And that violence was here long before any video game.

People who are truly violent will be violent no matter what.  A video game ain't gonna influnce that.

I've never really played it. I hear the second one is pretty good. I'm actually not that big of a fan of those kinds of games, never was that big on Resident Evil either. I'm more a fan of the balls to the wall kind of horror games like Manhunt or The Suffering.

Resident Evil is not scary at all.

But Silent Hill is the best of the psychological horror genre, IMO.

Ah well...to each their own, I suppose.

Same. I haven't seen shit that has actually scared me since then. Except naked (old) people.
