Well, when you figure that events in some people's lives are changing and they are starting on whole new experiences in their lives (ie, Graduation, starting College, new jobs, etc...), there is bound to be a lag.
That's when we need the newer members to step up and keep the site going. There is still actually more people posting here, more 'regulars', than when I joined. The new class of 2011 & 2012 needs to come alive now.
Play some Bully, again. What is unique about this game is that there is always some new thing to discover, even if you're not a modder. It's been near 6 years since Bully's release, and we are still active here. That's a real accomplishment. How many other gaming sites can say the same ?
So, let's not give up the ship just yet. There's still plenty here, and still a great staff. I can't think of any other site I'd rather be on than here.
