You mean, in like, actually cared about the characters ? Or just to read it ? Hell, I've read Penuts about all my life. Not obsessive about it, any more than Beetle Baily or Garfield or Blondie. I was more prone to the humor of Doonsbury, The Far Side, and Calvin and Hobbs...The past two long gone now.
Every Sunday, I'd grab the comics and read everything with few exceptions. My most hated comic of all time was (and is) Marmaduke. It was stupid and never funny, just a waste of space. My current fave, for the past few years has been Pearls Before Swine. I still look through Peanuts, though....Even though they're all 're-runs'.
