It's easier for families to break up when everyone lives so far away from each other. My family isn't split up, but we're not super close. It happens when you only see each other once or twice a year.

The only issues that have happened in my family involved my Uncle. He married this woman from Lithuania about 15 years ago and they had my cousin, Kyle. My former aunt then turned into a complete cunt and divorced my uncle and just fucked him over with legal loop holes, and anything else she could do to make life miserable for him. The two then had custody of my cousin every other weekend, but the bitch has been manipulating my cousin and brainwashing him with all sorts of shit and now he won't visit us anymore. I haven't seen him in 18 months.

The sad part in family conflict is kids have to eventually pick a side. Not always are they ready for that decision. I knew the truth of my family and had no problem. Some kids don't even know what's happening and get stuck in tug of war battles.

The kids are always stuck in the middle. Funniest part? The adults act worse than the kids.

Best thing I was ever told? My druggie aunt wanted me to skip school one day, I didn't, and I got a lecture on how I disgusted her and I need to be responsible.

Uh, yeah. Haven't spoken to the bitch since I was 16. I can't stand her. Now she's like some born again Christian hypocrite.
