I only hate ipods because they belong to Apple, those little fuckers are practically running a monopoly.  Its a real pain in the ass to crack codes so that other music can be used on ipods and vise versa.

What are you talking about? I download music all the time and put it on my iPod. I never buy from iTunes, it's a rip, because they have the drm on their stuff.

Sometimes I've had difficulties with it.  More often than not I have difficulties placing purchases from itunes into other devices, its like pulling teeth.

Yeah, the easiest way to get around it is to burn what you'd downloaded to a CD and then rip it back onto the computer. Contrary to popular belief that DRM prevents piracy, piracy has actually skyrocketed with the introduction of DRM.
