 I don't know if it was bomb or ball, the guy on the commercial pronounced it odd.  He had one of those voices that made it impossible to understand.

 What do you mean?  The only mispronounciations around here deal with words that have Rs in them.  Like "Pa'k the ca' in the ha'va'd ya'd".  hehe, try and figure that out.

 Most people here in New England leave out our R sounds.  I think Wade sort of has a similar accent at times in Bully.

My cousin has a very strange accent and it sounds like he's either from New Jersey or Boston.

Jersey is different.  A Boston accent is easy to recognize if you know what to listen for.
