MH2 was banned in England, and as a result, the U.S. release was held up by several months (which really pissed me off since I was waiting on it), while they went back and 'Re-Tooled' (blurred) the execution scenes to make it more 'acceptable'. The whole furror hit the mainstream media, making the network's nightly news.
MH1 had sorta snuck in under the radar, no one was aware of the brutal execution scenes until it was actually out there. This gave the opponents of the Manhunt genre ammunition in their campaign against MH2. Uncensored, MH2 excutions aren't any worse than MH1.
I fear this same scenario may happen to Bully 2.
