Im absolute sick of him my parents are strict idiots at times and i was playing san andreas i picked up a prossie just to annoy my dad and he laughed his head off. I don't see whats the problem with it. I play alot of shooting killing games and heck they look soo cool but it doesn't make me wanna go out there and shoot in my school. because i know whats right and wrong and im 14. Jack thompfuck is acting like we're 3 year olds and when we play these sort of games we get a disease which makes you wanna go out and shoot anything that moves. if anything my sisters music drives me more willing to kill someone than a video game or better yet seeing people get shot on news/online. so i have a simple way thru this problem

Lol i can see where he Should be coming from, but he dosn't gather his facts, generalises, says that something that he hasn't played should be banned and basically makes a fool of himself.

So yeah if I had one question to ask Jack Thompson (self proclaimed video game expert), it'd have to be "Would you like to go lick the road?"

Jack's an idiot. He has every right in the world to speak his opinion, but when he tries to make false claims about something he doesn't even fully understand, it can do little besides ruin his name.

It'd be a bit different if he actually had his facts straight and did some solid research into what he's arguing. Doing elsewise is just plain ignorant.

What I dont get the most about Jack is - he sees himself as some kind of crusader.. but hes fighting a
war he cant win. He knows it, 99% of the gaming world hates him.. and only because hes trying to stop
us from entertaining ourselves.. I mean thats what it comes down to.

He bans a game: my rights are taken away from me (here with the freedom bit again)..
He bans a game: i dont have fun..

And if he thinks that people dont take notice of the ratings.. then the problem isnt with banning the
product - its with trying to make it so that ratings are actually inforced. At the age of 18 you are
able to drive, smoke, drink, have sex, pay bills, get married, etc.. so why cant we play a videogame?
Because some jackass sells a 12 kid a copy of San Andreas.. that has nothing to do with the game,
that has nothing to do with me.. take it up with the idiot over the counter.
