Yeah I've heard of this glitch. I thought it was possible to get Derby to act in free roam as well for this but maybe I'm wrong.

lawl that reminds me... I tried doing this glitch once and Bif ended up spotting me. He ran up to Jimmy, gave him a noogie, and a nearby cop tried to bust him. Derby wasn't going to allow his buddy to get busted and started kicking the cop's ass. The officer bitch slapped Derby and took him down.

I couldn't stop laughing. I just. Watching somebody as high and mighty as Derby getting bitch slapped was the funniest shit ever.

Just tested this and no, he doesn't. He'll stop at the edge of the water and insult Jimmy.

I brought him to the basketball court over by Tad's house. Punched him, ended the mission, and the glitch didn't happen. *shrug* I'll have to take him other places and see if I can trigger it. The school can't be the only place...
