Actually some decent scenarios for a new Bully in some form.  I think if they tone down the violence (but still keep it) and focus more on a story & plot (akin to a "Life Is Strange" type game) that there may be a real chance something could be made.  The old plot based on one Maniac 'taking over the School' should be dropped for more intricate characters, leading to a storyline that shows more personal character development.

Owais, you're confusing. First you say that you 100% believe there will be a sequel, then you say "50/50 chance", then you say "there will definitely be a sequel" and now you're denying the whole thing.

Make up your mind.

Or... they could all be adults and this turn into a crime drama

I'd like to see more environmental interact ions.
There were a few rooftops in New Coventry that you could climb up on. They really didn't serve any purpose, aside from being a nice way to escape the cops after you shot a hobo in the nuts with a slingshot.
It just added a nice feel when you found a new "secret" location.

It's like the pirate ship. Or the small caves at the edge of the map.
They're not related to anything major. They are just there for explorers to find and find enjoyment out of.

I still believe R* will make Bully 2
Since Bully looks really original & unique, comparing to other freeroam game
I believe, they just lack of an idea to develop this Bully sequal

Btw thing that I want to see in Bully 2:
-Player can run bussines in school like running a bodyguard business to protect weak kids, retrieving a stolen stuff, take a revenge request against other bully kids (instead of bounty mission like the GTA V), selling porn stuff or maybe other stuff like tacos to the school kids (instead of selling drug since it is impossible for the game)
-Player can play some real sport (soccer, football, basketball, cricket or etc), I believe they can do this, just look at GTA V, you can do yoga, tennis & etc
-Player can make a customize to his weapons, vehicle/bike
-Add laptop or pc for the player to use
-Much more innovative prank stuff as a weapon, like watergun,  joy buzzer/hand buzzer, Fake blood in a platic bag, RC for Plane, Car Or Tank
-Add some real & cool myth, like the GTA V

do you seriously think rockstar have not thought of those you did? they're a company, come on, they are not making it, let's be realistic here, if they wanted to, why wait sooo long?

Because...

1) Games take time to develop
2) A new GTA game has been priority since that is a significantly more popular series
3) GTA V has been being milked to the max by updates and more releases for newer systems

Just because they prioritize GTA doesn't mean they don't still care for Bully and want to make it. Just like you said... they're a company, so let's be realistic: they're going to prioritize GTA since it's much more successful. However since GTA V is probably coming to an end soon... Rockstar could be making a new title. Could it be Bully? Maybe... maybe not. In my opinion though they have room to take a gamble with their next game due to the success of GTA V... but we'll see.

I don't think we ever should give up on Bully 2 but nor should we really expect it that much. May happen, maybe not... let's wait and see.

I think everyone should take a look at Rockstar Games, and actually look at their trend in games over the past decade or so.

The PS2/Xbox era was great and easy hardware to develop on, leading to a great deal of titles.

This newer hardware isn't so much.

Also take into account that Rockstar North is the big main developer for the publisher.

All most all in house studios offered a hand in someway to help make GTA V. You can imagine this either caused all other projects to stop, or have very little staff to work on whatever project.

Take into account that Dan Houser is apart of every project, especially when it comes to story. This as you could imagine makes things slower for each title. And, I doubt we will ever see a time when he don't jump on each title going into the future.

As a company standpoint, money is the sole reason to make each game. This make the popular titles higher up to get a sequel than anything else.

Fans are also expecting another Red Dead title, which was a great selling title, at least Redemption was. This leaves Max Payne, Bully, and Manhunt, as far as established games/series. This doesn't include any new game, or series they might have planned, excluding Agent, and LA Noire.

Rockstar has proven that they don't follow the pack within the industry, with the exception of GTA. It has a huge following though, and Dan hasn't said anything about cutting Bully from a lineup. It could be worse, this could be a Half Life forum lol.

I agree with Crazy Snake. Rockstar really does have a trend of pandering to the GTA franchise. I can understand from their point since it's their biggest seller. But seriously, have they not been paying attention to the cult status it STILL has? I know some people who work there has. But I don't think it's enough to put a sequel into consideration. Look at how much praise Red Dead Redemption had. And you can see that's not enough either. (Tho I'm really wishing that the rumors are true and it is coming out in 2016 or sooner.)  I'm guessing like CrazySnake, R* is putting more work into getting their bigger selling games out first like Red Dead instead of focusing on an earlier game like Bully. Our little faithful group of hoping that Bully will get another sequel doesn't mean much to a big company like R*.
Great Games do really take long to develop as we'll especially with this gen. (look at rainbow siege ugh.. graphics were a disappoint) If a sequel was coming anytime soon in the next years, I would've thought at least a hint or announcement at it would've been made now. But I'd rather wait more years for a kickass sequel for Bully than get a rushed out, flawed sellout next year.
But we will be in straight hell if we become like the Half-Life fandom. It's the worst feeling ever...
